  • Outplacement services (conform art. 51 of Law 76/2002)
    In case of restructuring of activity that can lead to substantial changes in the number and structure of staff, Employers are required to notify the employment agencies to take measures to combat unemployment and preventing adverse social effects. Astfel, employers are required to provide notice, under the Labour Code and the collective labor agreement, employees to be laid off. During the period of notice, employees will participate in outplacement services performed by agencies for employment.
  • To assist people affected by the restructuring taking place in the economy, employers are required to notify the county agencies for employment at least 30 days before granting notices required by law.

  • County agencies, by own staff, may conduct the following activities:
    * information on the legal provisions regarding the protection of the unemployed and offering employment and training
    * placing on vacancies , available locally
    * training in ways of searching for a job
    * professional reorientation within an enterprise or short-term training
    * opinion polling employees and advising them on measures to combat unemployment
    Outplacement services can benefit, request, and others at risk of becoming unemployed.
